4 Day Forklift Training & Licence Assessment - $650.00 GST Exempt

This course is suited to all persons who need to learn how to drive safely and obtain a licence by the end of the course. This course is perfect for the beginner, or those just starting your career and your employer wants to fast track your licence.

At the conclusion of this 4 day course you should have a interim forklift licence and good workplace knowledge and skills in forklift operation. You will still need to lodge your assessment documentation with Australia Post, pay a licence fee of $72.00 to allow the issuance of your five year photo ID licence.

Student facilities include tea, coffee, milk, sugar. Food can be purchased from a mobile food van during your course. A refrigerator is available for food storage onsite. Student parking is available within the complex. The no smoking policy applies to all training environments. Smokers have a dedicated smoking zone.

3 Day Flexible Format Forklift Course – $475.00 - theory and practical component + $100.00 Licence Assessment - GST Exempt

This course is designed for employers who need their staff to be formally trained before operating a forklift in the workplace. After the formal training the student drives under supervision in the workplace for a number of hours before returning to AIMM Industrial Training for their licence test. The usual timeframe from training to assessment is 4 - 6 weeks. The Government has a timeframe after which the training provided is no longer valid requiring refresher training. To be assessed the student will need to confirm their attendance on a nominated Assessment Day. This ensures sufficient resources are available.

You will still need to lodge your assessment documentation with Australia Post, pay a licence fee of $72.00 to allow the issuance of your five year photo ID licence.

2 Day Experienced Forklift Operator Course - $375.00 theory component + $100.00 Licence Assessment - GST Exempt

This course is designed for businesses who can not afford to have their staff away from the workplace for extended periods of time. AIMM provides the formal training package and returns the worker to the workplace to continue their studies and informal on the job training while they prepare for assessment. We require that students enrolling in this program have a record of their training in forklift operation and a logbook listing the types of work that has been formed in the workplace. If you have recently arrived in Australia such as from New Zealand you will need to be able to provide proof of your experience outside of Australia. This must include references from overseas employers, your original forklift licence from another country and other supporting documents. 2 Day Order Picker Course - $465.00 GST Exempt

You must have received some employer work based training that is recorded on a training record and have a record of driving under supervision. If you do not have this information then AIMM Industrial Training may provide you with some processes to follow or suggest a program where you do 2 days of the course before returning to work with a licenced assessment a number of weeks later. At the conclusion of this course you should have a interim Order Picker licence and good workplace knowledge and skills in order picker operations. You will still need to lodge your assessment documentation with Australia Post, pay a licence fee of $72.00 to allow the issuance of your five year photo ID licence.

Forklift Licence Assessment - $100.00 GST Exempt

If you have been trained in the workplace by a qualified trainer or have completed a theory training session with AIMM Industrial Training this program may be right for you. Under current legislation all training must be current which means that a period not longer than 90 days is allowable from the formal training to the licence assessment. Should this timeframe lapse, you may be required to undertake a brief refresher training session. Please note there will be no training provided with this course. It is a knowledge and practical driving assessment course only.

Minimum requirements for applications are:

Applicants must have a current training plan
Applicants must have a current up to date learner's logbook
Applicants must be over 18 years old
